When you watch a YouTube video outside of the standalone on an Android device you don’t get full YouTube capabilities, thankfully Google now has a solution announcing a new YouTube API for Android, allowing third parties to integrate a full YouTube player in their applications.

Alongside this the new API will also support Google TVs running Android 2.2 or higher as well as allowing developers to earn money from videos viewed.
