Google released a new update to their Google Now service yesterday that will defiantly make Apple’s Passbook application a little less revolutionary.

The service which was made available with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will now provide users with travel information, allowing the service to display a QR code for your boarding pass as well as displaying the local weather for your destination.

At the moment the service is only supported in the US with United Airlines, but Google did mention that the service will be working its way to other airlines soon.

Now will also alert you of areas it thinks you should visit such as museums etc.

Alongside it Google Search has been updated with a new feature that allows you to identify a song, which basically takes over for Shazam.
