Google Maps already has a significant amount of Street View data, with tons of roads already pictured, obviously that’s not enough for Google however as they have just updated the service with over 250,000 miles worth of new Street View images.
The update brings new street level views of various roads across the UK, US, Singapore, Sweden, Italy and Canada where there was not before, alongside it, Google has also added what they call “special collections” which simply allows you to view the inside of some of the world’s greatest landmarks.
The landmarks include Stanley Park in Vancouver, Elsinore Castle in Denmark, Catherine Palace and the Ferapontov monastery in Russia alongside the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taiwan.
