The official Google I/O app has today been updated to get ready for the upcoming Google I/O 2016 event.

The developer conference will kick off at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California from May 18th to May 20th.

During the conference, we expect that Google will announce a range of new software and service releases, as well as updates to its current web services like Search, Gmail, Maps and more.

We also expect to see more updates to the Android platform.

The official Google I/O app is now available to download on Android, and it will provide users with a range of features that help you track the event from your smartphone.

If you are attending you can sign up to get reminders before events at the conference, with an interactive map to find your way around the event, as well as live stream the keynote and sessions from the app.

You can download the app from the Google Play Store today.

Registration ended for the event on March 10th, so if you did not get accepted then you won’t be able to attend.
