Last year Google unveiled something that they didn’t expect to become so awesome and that was Google Cardboard.

A VR device that can be made using a piece of cardboard and a smartphone, Google allows pretty much anyone to create their own VR device without having to spend a ton of money.

Previously however this would only work on Android, but now Google has extended its support to iOS, today launching a new iOS application that will allow any iPhone user to check out the service.

This was announced during the companies Google I/O 2015 conference.

The iOS application is now available for download from Apple’s iTunes App Store and will include all the same features as the Android version, just optimised for iOS.
