The CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai revealed that this year’s Google I/O developer conference will be held on May 18th, 2016 and it will conclude on May 20th.

This was revealed in a Tweet from Pichai, revealing that the event will be hosted in Mountain View’s Shoreline Ampitheatre, bringing I/O back to the “neighborhood where it all started 10 yrs ago.”.

They haven’t reveal details on tickets, or what will happen at the event, but we can presume that we will hear more details on Project Aura, which is reported to be a pair of augmented reality glasses, as well as the new Google Glass headsets.

You can also expect pricing to be similar to previous years, when general admission was around $900.

The CEO of Google has taken to Twitter to announce when this year’s I/O developer conference will be held.
