Google announced their Pixel C tablet back at the end of September last year, and now the device is finally available for purchase, priced from $499 in the US and from £479 in the UK.

In terms of specifications the Pixel C features a 10.2 inch display with a pixel resolution of 2,560 x 1,800, with an NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor, and 3GB of RAM.

The device also comes with the option of either 32GB or 64GB of storage, with Android pre-installed.

On top of all this the tablet also features a 256 core Maxwell GPU, a 3.5mm audio jack and dual cameras.

On the front there is a 2 megapixel camera, and on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera, with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity in-built.

It also has a USB Type-C connector for charging and syncing, as well as an optional keyboard dock, which costs $149 in the US.

The Pixel C is priced at $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB model. In the UK that is £399 for the 32GB model, and £479 for the 64GB model.
