Today GoPro revealed two brand new action cameras, the Hero 5 Black and the Hero 5 Session.

Both of them are similar to their predecessors, with a small design that has a focus on mounting, but they also come with waterproofing up to 10 metres deep.

The Hero 5 Black and Session will also be capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second, with the ability to auto-upload photos and videos to the cloud when charging, and a new one-button control system.

They also both have electronic image stabilisation during video capture, with voice control compatibility for a total of seven languages at launch.

There’s also a new linear view setting for wide angle video recording.

Both also have a touchscreen on the back.

After that they change, the Hero 5 Black has the ability to shoot 12-megapixel pictures, with RAW and WDR photo modes and GPS capabilities.

It can also record stereo audio.

The new GoPro Hero 5 Black and Hero 5 Session will be available later this year for $399 and $299 respectively.
