Earlier today GoPro announced their latest action camera that ill soon be making its way to market, called the Hero3+, it has been designed using the latest technology available to the company as well as using a new rugged body.

The camera is also 20% lighter and smaller than the previous editions of the GoPro, and features a 12 megapixel sensor that can shoot stills at up to 30fps.

There’s also a new video mode called SuperView which can be used to capture what GoPro are calling the world’s most immersive wide-angle perspective, which has been coupled with a new Auto Low Light Mode, designed to adjust the frame rate whilst in low-light conditions.

To top that all off, there’s also a new battery that adds 30% more life to the camera, as well as a new WiFI chip to allow for 4 times faster connectivity.

The GoPro Hero3+ is available from today in both silver and black for $299 and £399 respectively.
