Rockstar has just released GTA: San Andreas for both Android and the Kindle Fire HDX, adding to the iPhone and iPad versions that are already available, updated from the original PS2 and Xbox versions that were released over 10 years ago, re-mastered with new lighting enhancements, an enriched colour palette and improved character models.

The Android version also adds support for controllers, USB and Bluetooth enabled joypads.

However the game will only run on devices with the current Android devices for which Rockstar has posted all the supported Android and Kindle Fire devices on its support pages.

The game will be priced at £4.99 and is available on Google Play, the Amazon Appstore.
