Griffin and Crayola have today announced a new partnership where they will be releasing a new kind of drawing pen for the iPad, named the Crayola Light Marker the pen displays a light on the end which your iPad’s front-facing camera can detect, this then allows the user to create their own on-screen art with gestures.

The marker will of course be coupled with its own application, and will also come with an activity centre and workstation and will even work with the current Crayola software.

The Marker will be available for $29.99.

Alongside the marker, Griffin has also decided to expand its KaZoo line of iOS accessories and teamed up with Nikelodeon to bring a new set of characters to the brand, these include the KaZoo on-ear headphones with safety volume limiter in either penguin or frog, animal iPod touch cases and the Capper Stylus.

Then there will be skins, cases and other accessories available with Dora The Explorer, SpongeBob Squarepants and even the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.
