With the Kindle Fire coming to the UK on October 25th 2012, Griffin Technology have shown of their new collection of cases for the new tablet, the first of which is the Survivor for Kindle Fire which has been engineered to meet and exceed military standards of protection against wind, dirt,sand, shock and vibration, the frame is made from a shatter-resistant polycarbonate, which is surrounded by an outer layer of shock-absorbing silicone, also built-in is a screen protector guard as well as guards for all of your ports.
Alongside it will be the new folio cases which flip open like a book, making them easy to carry around, but are still made from a durable outer finish with a smooth microsuede lining to cut down on scratches and fingerprints, the first of the folio’s is the Elan Passport which includes pockets for cards as well as a tab closure to secure the cover, and will be available in Armour, Black, Petal, Black/Chocolate and a Red /Black wild, jungle-inspired Big Cat pattern for £19.99.
There’s also the Simple Passport that includes a sleeker outer finish and can be secured with an elastic band, the Simple Passport will be available in Black and Olive for £19.99.
Last up is the Elan Folio which comes in a completely different design to the previous covers, with an embossed pyramidel stud pattern, the cover can also be used to rotate the reader between two landscape positions, upright and inclined, the Elan Folio is available in a Petal/black, Gunmetal/Black and a Red/Black wild, jungle-inspired Big Cat pattern for £19.99.
