Harris Tweed is probably one of the oldest fashion statements around, created over a century ago in the islands of the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland, it is pun, dyed and hand-woven to create one of the most recognisable brands around today, making it an obvious addition for some of your latest gadgets, and Griffin have recognized that, today announced the release of new Harris Tweed cases for the iPhone 5 and 5S.
The first off which is actually a wallet, dubbed the Harris Tweed Wallet for iPhone 5/5s, it has been designed with a leather-bound and with Harris Tweed around the outer panels. Around the inside there’s a smooth nylon lining, designed to reduce smudges and protect the phone from scratches.
Opening like a notebook, the wallet has a bi-fold design, opening to reveal both card slots and a cash pocket on the inside.
The wallet will be available from November for £39.99, coming in two colours, brown and black herringbone. You can find out more on Griffin’s website.
Second on the list is more of a case, designed with a hard inner shell, it features Harris Tweed bonded around the outside, and has been designed to be both low profile and protect the iPhone from impacts.
The Harris Tweed Case for iPhone 5/5s is available from today for £29.99, launching in both black and brown herringbone. You can find out more here.
