After waiting for what seems like a lot longer than over a week, Rockstar have finally launched GTA Online, allowing players to hop onto the servers from today and start playing with other players from around the world, or even within their own crew.

To access the service you will simply need to download a small update for your game that will allow you to access the online servers, for which you will of course need a copy of GTA V and have access to either the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live, depending on your system of choice.

Access will also depend on how well the servers keep up with the demand, and since there’s an estimated 16.5 million copies in circulation, its likely that there will be day one server outages.
