Rockstar has today released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the Windows Phone Store, but only for select Windows Phone devices, including the Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 822, Lumia 820, Lumia 810 and the HTC 8XT.

The launch represents the first time one of the games from the GTA franchise has been launched onto the platform, and joins the versions which are already available for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices, featuring remastered high-resolution graphics specifically built for mobile platforms as well as lighting enhancements, a richer colour palette and improved character models.

There’s also three control modes added, with customisable buttons that will only show when needed.

GTA: San Andreas is available on the Windows Phone Store for £5.49.
