Getting kids to drink enough during the day is pretty hard, especially when you’re not around to nag them about it.

A company called Bowhead  Technology think that they have the answer to this, and that is the new Gululu tracking bottle, which features a bunch of tech specs to hopefully help you get your kids to drink enough.

One way that it will do this is through the virtual pet that is included on the bottle, which will grow every time your child meets a goal that you have set for your child’s water intake.

To power this, the Gululu features an inbuilt display to show the virtual pet, a home button to control it and a number of embedded sensors and Wi-Fi connectivity to help you track the water-drinking data.

It also has wireless charging for quick charging when your kids get back home, which is when you can also sync the Gululu via a companion app on your mobile device.

You can also set the bottle to be in a school mode when your kids are at school to prevent them from getting distracted.

The Gululu Interactive Bottle is now on Kickstarter, where it is looking to raise a total of $100,000 in backing.

Those who do back can grab a pre-order with pledges from $89.
