This week Harman announced the launch of their new JBL Link series of wireless speakers.

There are a number of different speakers in this new lineup, each of which come with support for the Google Assistant personal assistant. The lineup includes the Link 10, the Link 20 and the Link 300.

Both the Link 10 and the Link 20 have been designed to be highly portable speaker systems, the main difference between the two is that the 10 has a 5-hour battery life and the 20 has a 10-hour battery life. Aside from that, the two are certified to IPX7, which means that they are waterproof.

The Link 300 is the largest of these three speakers which have been designed to pump out more audio power.

On top of all of that, all of these three speakers have been designed to be connected together in order to provide a surround sound multi-room system.

Michael Mauser, President of the Lifestyle Audio Division at HARMAN explained more:

We are thrilled to pair JBL’s incredible legacy of award winning sound with our growing line-up of voice-controlled speakers. JBL LINK is a first-class wireless smart speaker that allows consumers to entertain and enjoy world class sound in a sleek package.

Sadly, we don’t know much more than that just yet, however, Harman did say that this new JBL Link series will be available from Fall 2017 on their website.
