A new pair of headphones were launched on the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign this week, claiming to be a pair of “superior noise cancelling headphones”, they have been designed to cancel all of the outside noise, while keeping the sounds that you do want to help, helping you to focus on what is important to you.

They have two products to help you do this, but both involve a pair of headphones or earbuds.

The first of these are the Hero headphones, which they say can provide superior noise cancellation with wired or wireless capability while delivering “audiophile-level” sound quality of the onboard low EMI Class H stereo amplifiers and the integrated dual ultra-low power audio codecs.

The headphones also use Stages’ ambient+ and selective sound technology to provide that noise cancellation ability that we mentioned earlier, allowing you to listen to the sounds that you want from specific directions.

You can also fix the direction to the person that you are speaking to, at which point, the headphones will use voice recognition in order to help you to never miss a conversation regardless of the movement of the headphones.

Alongside Hero, Stages has another device called Sidekick.

Sidekick has been designed to be used with your current pair of wired or wireless headphones/ earbuds and provide the same features as the Hero, but with the same cans that you currently use.

Sidekick has been designed to be used on a tabletop, it is both rechargeable and portable so it can be used in a range of locations.

To control all of this, Stages has built a companion app that allows you to control the sound from the Hero or Sidekick, as well as set up the gear to your preferences.

This is where you will set the direction of the noise cancellation and select the sound that you want to hear.

To get these products into production, Stages is looking to raise $100,000 on the Indiegogo website, where they are offering early bird backers with pre-orders of the device for from $299.

They expect to ship these pre-orders in July 2017.
