Owners of Android tablets might be pleased to know that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is finally available to play on selected Android tablets, as was announced by the games developer Blizzard earlier today.

In case you don’t know what it is, Hearthstone is a free to play strategy card game that times in with Blizzard’s other series’, but mostly World of Warcraft. In the game you must fight off opponents with sets of these cards and skill, working to take out all of the other players’ health before he does the same to you.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available to download via the Google Play and Amazon Appstore for Android in the coming days in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand

Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment explained a little more about the release:

“Hearthstone’s intuitive interface and approachable design make it a perfect fit for tablets, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring players have a great experience on a wide range of Android devices,”-“We’re excited to welcome Android players to the Hearthstone community, and we’re looking forward to bringing the game to even more mobile platforms—including phones—in the future.”

You will also be able to play Hearthstone on the iPad, Windows and the Mac, with versions for the iPhone and Android smartphones coming soon.
