Casio has today unveiled their latest Android Wear smartwatch at CES 2016, called the Smart Outdoor Watch WSD-F10, but most will probably call it “that Casio smartwatch”.

The watch has been designed for those who like to partake in outdoor activities, like camping, moutain biking and generalling doing anything that might get muddy, fitted with a US military standard to do that.

Along with that, the smartwatch also features a range of sensors with a compass in-built, allowing it to tell you things like the air pressure, altitude, sunrise and sunset times, tide graphs and your own activity graphs.

It will also show changes in the natural environment on your activity level as a pop up via its 1.32 inch screen, that features a 320 x 320 pixel resolution.

The screen is also capacitive, so it will still work if you are wearing gloves.

The smartwatch can also be synced with the Casio Moment Setter+ app on a smartphone, which will show your activities that include trekking, cycling and fishing.

Finally the watch will run on Android Wear, with a number of apps available to extend it even further, it’s also water resistant up to 50 meters.

We don’t know when it will launch or for what price yet.
