After posting a brand new trailer earlier, Infinity Ward and Activision revealed more details about the next title in the Call of Duty franchise, Infinite Warfare.

Thanks to its three-year development time, Infinity Ward believes that they have created the next best Call of Duty game, featuring what Infinity Ward says will “redefine what players think of as the traditional narrative experience for the franchise”.

Probably the biggest change in Infinite Warfare is that it will be set in space, Earth’s resources have been depleted and now the world is relying on a number of outpost stations across space, which provide the resources that they need, but as this is a Call of Duty game, things don’t go exactly to plan.

It’s not just story though, Infinite Warfare will also bring brand new online multiplayer with a range of new talents, abilities, maps and more to “challenge players to achieve their goals in various, novel ways”.

What’s more, for the first time in the Call of Duty franchise, Infinity Ward will be producing their own cooperative Zombies mode that will bring a brand new storyline to the game, with Infinity Ward’s own take on the gamemode.

As of yet, details on both the Zombies mode and the multiplayer has yet to be revealed, but you can expect to hear more about that over the next few months. In fact, Infinity Ward says that we can expect to see more at E3 in June of this year.

We do know that PlayStation 4 will be getting DLC Map packs 30 days ahead of other consoles and the PC again with this game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will also be released alongside Infinite Warfare, available as part of the Legacy Edition or higher, sadly it won’t be available by itself. Check out some screens for that below:

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be released worldwide on November 4th, 2016.
