[Update] Nintendo has officially announced that the Switch will be released on March 3rd for £280 in the UK, it is now available to pre-order from a number of retailers including Amazon, GAME and many others.

[Original] Nintendo is set to unveil more about their upcoming Switch console at 6AM GMT tomorrow (January 13th), when we expect to see more about the console.

So far we have only heard what Nintendo unveiled in their original announcement, which wasn’t much at all.

That said, that should change very soon with the upcoming livestream.

After the presentation, Amazon will make the Nintendo Switch available for pre-order, however, it will only be available in very small quantities.

Here’s what they said about it:

Please be advised that Nintendo Switch will be available to pre-order from 07:00 BST Friday, 13 January, 2017. Due to limited stock we are only able to offer one unit per customer per address. We will be fulfilling customer orders in the order in which they were placed.

At the moment, Amazon is the only site that is offering the ability to pre-order, however, we will be updating this article as more availability is announced.

We will also update you with more information about the Nintendo Switch console, including the release date, pricing and more, so be sure to come back tomorrow.
