Tesla has today revealed the details for their new 2016 edition of the Tesla Model S, which features an upgraded grille, lights, filter and more.

Probably the biggest change from the current version is that Tesla has removed an replaced the plastic nose, changing it to one that looks a little closer to the Model X and providing a more seamless design.

The Model S will also feature fully adaptive LED headlights, which now use 14 separate LEDs and are capable of moving into three different positions.

Tesla says that this will allow the car to throw lights around corners before you actually turn into them.

This new 2016 model also includes the say HEPA air-filtration system that you will find in the Model X.

This filter offers a “Bioweapon Defense Mode”, which is said to remove “at least 99.97 per cent of particulate exhaust pollution and effectively all allergens, bacteria and other contaminants from cabin air.”

On top of all this, the Tesla Model S will also come with unlimited access to the Supercharger network, alongside an eight-year, unlimited mile battery.

The new Tesla Model S will be available from £62,700 for the P70D model, or from up to £92,400 for the P90D.
