The Chinese consumer electronics manufacture HiSense has today announced some new products to hit the UK, revealing the launch of three new budget UHD TVs that will launch from just £449.

The cheapest is the 40-inch Ultra HD TV which is priced at £449, after which there is the 50 inch model for just £599 and the 55-inch model for just £699.

The TVs will also come with smart TV functionality, allowing users to access apps on their TV like Netflix without the use of an additional accessory, they also have HEVC H.265 encoding and is ready to play back streamed Ultra HD content.

The TVs also come with HDMI 2.0 ports to make them compatible with all current and future 4K external devices, allowing for access with UHD blu-ray players and more.

They also have USB 3.0 connections to allow for photo, music and video playback in 4K resolutions.

All of the three TVs will be available in the Autumn of this year, after which HiSense plans to launch other sets like curved models and new flagship models that will have quantum dot technology.

In order to push the new televisions HiSense has become one of the major sponsors of the Red Bull Racing F1 team.

We certainly can’t wait to see how good these TVs and it the budget price tag will not mean the quality is reduced.
