Today Honor announced that their latest mid-level phone is going to launch in the UK.

Called the Honor 9, it is an update to the previously released Honor 8, featuring a 7.45mm design that features a similar multi-layered and very reflective Sapphire Blue finish to what you might find on the HTC U11.

To top that off, the Honor 9 features a 3D curved glass back alongside a 2.5D glass front that makes the phone feel a little more substantial while providing a bit more depth.

It also comes with a 5.15-inch 1080p display, a Kirin 960 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of inbuilt storage.

Around the back, you will also find a set of dual cameras, one of which is a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and the other is a 12-megapixel colour sensor. This comes alongside a ceramic fingerprint sensor on the front.

All of this will run alongside Android 7.0 and Huawei’s Emotion UI 5.1 skin on top.

You can pre-order the Honor 9 from a few places in the UK already, however, it won’t launch until July when it will be available for around £380.

it will also be available on contract in the UK exclusively from Three. If you want to pre-order it now you can do so from Amazon.
