Following on from Asus’s announcement of the Chromebox earlier this week, HP has today announced its own Chromebox product, much like that of the Chromebook it will run on Chrome OS but in the desktop form not the notebook one.

The HP Chromebox will be available in Spring 2014 in a range of colours, including white, black, silver and turquoise.

HP have yet to release any specifications on the Chromebox aside from the colour options, however we do know that it will run on an Intel i7 processor, and will be a “Small box, big power to go fast and do it all in the cloud,” according to HP.

There’s also four USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port and finally a DisplayPort.

When we find out more about the Chromebox we will let you know.
