Soon after they discontinued their webOS devices including the TouchPad and Palm smartphone, HP decided to release Open webOS in beta, which they have done today, available under the Apache 2.0 licence the beta comprises of 54 components with more than 450,000 lines of code, which incorporates all the elements released so far on Ubuntu.
