Today HP unveiled an interesting desktop PC.

Designed to compete with the likes of the Mac Mini, this new PC has been named the HP Z2 Mini G3 and basically a sleek Windows-running Mini PC.

It measures just 8.5 x 8.5 x 2.28 inches in diameter with a sleek black design with corner cutouts.

It can be equipped with an Intel i3, i5 or i7 processor, or a Xeon E3 processor instead.

On top of that processor, it comes equipped with a 2GB NVIDIA Quadro M620 graphics processor and up to 32GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM memory.

Jeff Wood, vice president and general manager, Workstations and Thin Clients, HP Inc. explained more with the following:

The HP Z2 Mini, the world’s first mini workstation, delivers breakthrough power and versatility in a small, iconic design. HP redefined the workstation in 2009 with the introduction of the HP Z series, and now once again is disrupting the category with the new HP Z2 Mini Workstation – the ultimate combination of space efficiency, elegance and power for our customers and partners.

The mini PC will be available in December 2016 with prices starting at $699.
