HP has today unveiled that it will be updating its Envy line of laptops, bringing with it a new thinner design, a longer battery life and new 4K display options, with a total of three new models, two of which have a 15.6 inch screens and the last has a 17.3 inch screen.

The 15.6 inch model has been named the HP Envy X460, with a 21 per cent thinner design that weighs just 2.04kg, and measuring 18.8mm thick. It also has a new metal design and a battery life that is said to last up to 11 hours on a single charge,

It also has an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, with Intel Iris Graphics or an AMD FX 9800P quad-core processor with Radeon R7 Graphics.

It will also come with 16GB of memory, or the option to upgrade that with up to a 2TB HDD or 256GB PCIe SSD.

It also has Bang & Olufsen speakers on the front, with three USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port and HP Fast Charge technology, which can charge your battery up to 90 per cent in 90 minutes when powered off.

The 17.3 inch version of the laptop weighs 2.99kg, featuring an Intel Core i7 processor, with NVIDIA GeForce 940X graphics, with up to a 1TB HDD, or a 512GB SATA SSD.

All of the laptops will be available from HP’s website and from Best But in the US, the 15.6-inch HP ENVY x360 will launch on May 29th for $680, the non 360 version of the 15.6-inch ENVY will also be launched from May 25th from $780, and finally, the 17.3-inch HP ENVY will be available from June 1st and will priced $1,030.
