Today HTC confirmed that they are making a second standalone VR headset.

It will be designed in conjunction with Qualcomm and will be launched under their Vive range of products, featuring all the tech inside that you need to step into smart home technology.

It will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and won’t require a separate smartphone or PC in order to run it.

And to get content on it, the headset will use HTC’s Viveport software.

Sadly, it will only be launched in China to start with and HTC hasn’t revealed any information on if it will be launched in the US, UK or in other regions, but we will update you should they do that.
