After many rumours, leaks, and reports HTC confirmed the news about a device that we have been hearing about for some time now, the HTC U (Ocean).

Earlier this week we saw some leaked press renders and images of the device, but as of today we don’t have to rely on this, HTC has finally revealled that the HTC U will be unveiled on May 16th.

They revealed this with the release of a five-second teaser trailer on their Twitter account, featuring the tagline “Squeeze for the brilliant U”.

According to rumors, that we have previously heard, the HTC U will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 64 or 128GB of storage, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Rumors also suggest that it will feature Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed along with HTC’s Sense 9 UI, it will also have have a 4,000mAh battery.

We haven’t heard much official news about it yet, however, when we hear it we will be sure to update you.
