HTC has today officially announced the new HTC Desire 310 on their website, as the successor to the HTC Desire 300, it is targeted at the mid-range market, featuring a 4.5 inch 854 x 480 resolution display, a MediaTek MT6582M 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

There’s also 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 5 megapixel camera on the back, 0.3 megapixel camera on the front, dual-SIM card connectivity, as well as Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 3G (HSDPA), and a 2000mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 310 will be available in the UK from April with O2, and Vodafone from Carphone Warehouse.
