The UK based mobile carrier Three has today announced that the recently announced HTC Desire Eye smartphone will be available on their network exclusively when it launches in the UK.

The carrier announced that once it is released they will be the only mobile carrier to offer the smartphone on contract in the UK, however we presume that it will also be available in an unlocked vacation from other retailers in the UK.

In terms of specs, the HTC Desire Eye features a 5.2 inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, inside there’s also a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM.

On the front you will also find a 13 megapixel camera, and on the back there’s another 13 megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 28mm wide angle lens. Both will also be able to utilize HTC’s new Eye camera technology.

You can find out more about the smartphone on our announcement post here..

As of yet Three has yet to reveal any details on pricing for the HTC Desire Eye, or when we should expect to see it on the shelves. We should hear more about that soon however.
