It seems as though we might be getting closer to an announcement of the HTC M8 by HTC, after an alleged benchmark test appeared on AnTuTu earlier today, claiming that the smartphone HTC 0P6B120) features a 2.3GHz (presumably quad-core) Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Andreno 330 graphics, a 5 inch Full HD screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed and both a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front and 4MP shooter on the back, the rear-facing one presumably utilising the companies UltraPixel technology.

The site also claims that the device will feature 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

However our best guess is that no of these specs have actually been set in stone, and the device that was benchmarked was actually a prototype for the TC M8, given the Snapdragon 800 processor, which is said to be implemented in premium phones by the first half of 2014.
