One device that has been hanging around the rumor mill for some time now is the HTC One Max, said to be a larger version of the current HTC One, the device has today been officially revealed, with HTC announcing the device will feature a 5.9 inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 1.7GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and a fingerprint sensor.

Alongside which, the HTC One Max also features 2GB of RAM and the choice of wither 16GB or 32GB of storage, as well as the ability to take a microSD card sized up to 64GB.

The device will also run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense 5.5 overlay on top and will also feature a 3,300 mAh battery.

In terms of cameras, on the front there’s a 2.1 megapixel shooter and on the back there’s HTC’s Ultrapixel camera, which can record in full 1080p definition.

HTC will also be selling an optional case with the One Max that will provide an extra 1,150 mAh battery.

The HTC One Max will be available globally at the end of October for a yet to be announced price.
