HTC has this week announced something that we weren’t expecting, instead of announcing the HTC One M10, they announced the One X9, which is being launched after its unveiling back in December.

The new smartphone features a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, with a 5.5 inch 1080p LCD display, and 3GB of RAM. It also features a decently sized 3,000 mAh battery.

On top of that it also has a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, with a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter alongside it.

The HTC One X9 will be available in Carbon Grey, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold, and Copper Rose, each of which has been built using textured metal and will be available in North Asia and EMEA regions for around $370.

We don’t yet know if the smartphone will be making its way to other regions, or any other pricing.
