Today all of the phone company’s have gone mad, with Samsung release two new Windows Phone 7 Mango phones and now HTC have revealed their brand HTC Runnymede.

The Runnymede will have a 4.7-inch screen and will run on android, as well as this it is reported to have a single-core 1.5GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 16 or 32GB’s of ROM and a WVGA resolution.

With those sort of specs you’d expect some kind of low price, as lets be honest it doesn’t sound like the best phone to come be revealed this year, well in thinking that you’d be wrong, as according to rumours the 16GB model will be priced at a hefty £530 with the 32GB model priced with a slight increase of £30.

PocketNow were the first to reveal the story, who reported that the image you see on the left is a press image that was sent to them from HTC. As of yet there is no official word of any pricing or a release date but as always we will keep you informed as we find it.

What do you think? Would you but the new HTC Runnymede? Or does the name/ price put you off?
