HTC has today quietly unveiled a black version of its HTC One Max, bringing the handset into similar colour lines to the rest of the HTC One line, with the HTC One available in black, silver, red, blue and gold, the HTC One Mini in black, silver and blue and now the HTC One Max in silver and black.

The new coat of paint was first unveiled on HTC’s Hong Kong website earlier today, featuring the same specs as the original HTC One Max just in a change of colour, which does make the fingerprint reader on the back a little less noticeable.

Specifications include a 5.9 inch screen, a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, BoomSound speakers, a 4 megapixel UltraPixel rear-facing camera, fingerprint scanner on the back, 2GB of RAM, microSD card support and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-installed.

The HTC One Max is however upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
