Huawei has today unwrapped a new smartphone that will be launching called the Huawei Ascend G7.

The most interesting part of the G7 is its new metal design, that borrows some of its design techniques from HTC but still keeps to Huawei’s method of releasing phones that are affordable to everyone, despite their premium design.

In terms of specs, the Ascend G7 has a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution design with a 267ppi pixel density, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, with the ability to add an extra 64GB via a microSD card.

On the back you will also find a 13 megapixel camera, and on the front Huawei has fitted a 5 megapixel snapper. Finally inside you will also find a 3,000mAh battery.

The Huawei Ascend G7 will be available from November 2014 in grey, silver and gold for around €249.
