Huawei launched their first ever Windows Phone 8 handset named the Huawei Ascend W1 at CES 2013 earlier today, which will run on Microsoft’s newly updated mobile OS.

The device will arrive in the UK in Q1 2013 exclusive to O2 and will include a 4 inch screen with a 800 x 480 resolution.

There’s also a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, there’s also Adreno 305 graphics, 25 megapixel camera, autofocus and flash.

Also included is 4GB of in-built storage which can be expanded with a microSD card with up to 32GB of storage.

There’s also a 1950mAh battery which will give a standby capacity of 470 hours according to Huawei.

The device will be available in blue,red,black and white however O2 will only stock the blue and ruby pink versions of the device, the price is yet to be announced.
