Huawei has today announced a brand new Android smartphone, dubbed the Huawei Honor 4X the smartphone comes with a number of features including a 5.5 inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

The smartphone also has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of in-built storage.

On top of this there’s also a microSD card slot available for storage expansion and a SIM card slot inside, and a set of rear and front facing camera.

The front-facing camera on the Honor 4X is 5 megapixels so should be pretty decent for selfies. On the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera that should be good for photos and videos.

Inside you will also find a 3000 mAh battery, and the device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0 interface.

At the moment there’s no news on whether the device will launch in the US or Europe, but we do know that at launch the device will retail for the equivalent of $212 (1,299 RMB) when it launches in China.
