Earlier this week a leak was released about the Mate 10 which leads us to believe that the smartphone might be making its way to shelves very soon.

Today Huawei reinforced that belief with the confirmation of an upcoming media event, during which time they will be announcing their latest device, the Mate 10, which was pretty much confirmed in the invitation that they sent out, which shows both the number “10” and the words “Meet the device worth waiting for”.

The event will kick off on October 16th in Munich, Germany and will be the day to learn about the latest from Huawei.

Sadly, we don’t know much about the device just yet.

We have heard that the device will feature an edge-to-edge display with a longer battery life, faster charging, and much more.

Huawei’s CEO recently claimed that it will even be more powerful than the next iPhone from Apple.

It has also been said that the Mate 10 will launch with Android Nougat and Huawei’s EMUI pre-installed.

Of course, we don’t know anything official just yet.

We will update you when we do.
