Huawei has this week announced that they will be the latest manufacturer to make into the smart watch market, announced during their press conference at MWC 2015 this week.

The smart watch has been dubbed the Huawei Watch, and is to feature an AMOLED 1.4 inch display with a 400 x 400 pixel resolution 286 ppi, a 10,000:1 high contrast ratio and Android Wear inside.

“Designed by a team of experienced watch designers that have a rich history in creating fashionable and timeless watches, the attention-to-detail becomes apparent upon first glance as the device,” Huawei stated.

The watch also features a Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and Bluetooth 4.1.

In terms of design, the watch has a circular stainless steel unibody, featuring sapphire glass on the front of the watch.

The Huawei Watch will also be available with a range of straps including leather and even stainless steel.
