Amazon’s Alexa personal assistant has been gaining popularity over the last few months and it may have become one of many people’s personal favourites.

If it is your favourite personal assistant then you might be interested in Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9.

The Mate 9 was announced at CES 2017 this week and will be available in the US from January 6th with Amazon’s Alexa system pre-installed, allowing users of the smartphone to access a more “natural, convenient user interface” according to Huawei.

It can also set alarms, make to-do lists, and get information about the news and weather right from the phone.

The app will also be available for existing Mate 9 owners via an over-the-air update.

Aside from that, the Mate 9 features a 5.9-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 4,000mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, and a dual-camera system on the back.

To top that off, it is powered by a Kirin 960 processor.

The Mate 9 will be available in grey and silver in the US for $600.
