Humax has today announced what they are claiming to be the world’s thinnest soundbar, called the Humax STA-1200 BSW soundbar, it marks a move in Humax’s normal digital set top box releases, adding in soundbars to the mix.

The soundbar is 1200mm long, 37mm high and just 20mm thin, making it perfect for any flat screen TV.

And on top of that it can also pump out 80W of power across its four front speakers, as well as through the separate 100W passive subwooder, which measures 195mm x 266mm x 265mm. Both will also come with wall-mount brackets and a stand.

And the soundbar doesn’t have to be used just for your TV as the soundbar also uses Bluetooth / a 3.5mm audio headphone jack to connect to a mobile, tablet, laptop or any other device really, the speaker also features an optical in port.

The Humax STA-1200 BSW will be available from May 1st for £200.
