Alongside the other announcements, Apple upgraded their MacBook lineup at this year’s WWDC event, releasing a new set of iMacs and a new set of MacBooks that feature some new internals.

Today iFixit took a look at some of those internals, particularly within the new Retina MacBook 2017, which features some updates over the previous 2016 edition of the notebook. 12-inch 2,304 x 1,440-pixel resolution

iFixit tore down a version with a 12-inch screen that has a 2,304 x 1,440-pixel resolution with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 8GB RAM.

In this teardown, iFixit revealed that much is the same in terms of repairability, scoring just 1 out of 10 on iFixit’s repairability scale.
