Earlier today a press render of the Samsung Galaxy S8 was leaked by Evan Blass and it seems that this wasn’t the only view that we were going to see of the S8 today.
The guys over at BGR are now claiming to have received some hands-on images of an actual Galaxy S8 smartphone, revealing not only the look of the smartphone but also some of the specifications.
In their report, BGR noted that the standard galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch screen, while the Plus model will have a 6.2-inch screen, but because of Samsung’s new display design, there are practically no bezels on the smartphone at all.
They also said that both of the phones will features a curved Quad HD AMOLED panel, with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and microSDXC expansion support for support of up to 2TB of extra storage.
This links to previous reports that we have heard, which have also mentioned that the S8 will either feature Samsung’s latest Exynos processor or the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, depending on your region.
BGR went a little further, reporting that the phone also had a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera on the back with another 8MP camera on the front. It also seems that the rear camera has a flash and the fingerprint scanner has been moved from the front to the back.
Finally, BGR’s photos might show a dedicated button for Bixby on the side. On the bottom, we can also see a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone port.
Samsung will unveil the official details at their event in New York on March 29th, but before then, you can check out those snaps and more at the source link below.
