As always Apple have managed to hide almost everything they have been up to over the past few months, with no real news on their next to be released iOS 5.1 software, but there is always some way we find out what’s going on behind those Cupertino offices, with images appearing on BBlogdoiPhone, which reveal a variant of new features.

What the images revealed is a sort of extension from Apple’s recent button which allows you to press a button on the homescreen revealing the camera app, making it a lot quicker to take a photo. But it seems this may still be too slow as you still have to double tap the home button to access the camera.

In order to tackle this it appears Apple are adding a new way to reveal this button, by including an icon which will forever be shown on the lockscreen, which will allow you to swipe up in order to access your camera in times of haste.

Personally I’m not sure if I’d like this feature as already I have taken millions of random pocket photos, with the button as it is, but im sure this could increase with this new feature. Alongside this I wouldn’t want my slider decreased in size any more.

What do you think? Would you find this quicker access useful?
