As we lead up to the rumored September 10th unveiling of the next iPhone we are seeing a few more rumors linking to the long rumored budget version of the iPhone, now reportedly called the iPhone 5C, the latest leaks reportedly show the volume buttons for the new Apple smartphone.

Designed to keep costs lower than that of the current iPhone, it is thought that the budget version of the new iPhone will make use of some cheaper materials, including a plastic-shell casing, something that has become unusual for Apple.

And now the volume buttons for the rumored smartphone have leaked, said to include a range of bright colours including green, yellow, red and blue, the buttons definitely have a cheap look about them.

Constructed from plastic, the buttons are similar to that of the iPhone 4S, so it’s possible the iPhone 5C might be designed with a similar form factor, despite leaked images pointing to a design like the iPhone 5.

However, until Apple confirms it, all of this should be taken as a rumor.
