Alongside the announcement of the launch of a new updated Moto G, Motorola has today announced at their press event that they will be releasing a new budget friendly smartphone called the Moto E.
And despite the budget, it still comes with some pretty decent specs, including a 4.3 inch 720 x 1280 pixel resolution display, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for an extra 32GB of storage, and all running on Android 4.4 KitKat.
There’s also a 1980mAh battery that Motorola claims to last all day, as well as 3G, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB connectivity. Oh and not to forget, there’s also an FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and the device will be sized at 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3mm and weighing in at 140g.
The body is also both water-resistant and scratch-resistant, and will be available in black, lemon and turquoise at launch.
But if you don’t like those colour options, there will also be 9 colour shells for the Moto E made available.
The Motorola Moto E will be available this week for £89 unlocked.
